drain and rinse the black beans. I mash about 1/3 of the beans in a bowl with the bottom of a glass, while warming the oils in a medium/high fry pan. Put the mashed beans in the hot oil in the fry pan. add all the spices and stir to blend add the remaing beans, cook to warm, overcooking will result in drier beans you can add more oils if you let it get too dry. |
